I burned out my enamel brewing pot for homebrewing. From what the oldtimers say, stainless steel is the way to go. Any heavy duty stainless steel 20 qt would make me very happy!

Sleigh bells ring are you listening, in the lane snow is glistening. Its a beautiful site, were happy tonight. Walking in a winter wonderland.

Hi all, Happy approaching holidays. Sorry we wont be able to see most of you this year, but I will be thinking of you all. I don't need much these days, just trying to survive in school. So I hope the list is adequate.

1. As always, I want and need new clothing. So a gift card to any major clothing store or to the mall is greatly appreciated. http://www.fashionsquare.com/

2. I would really like a Wii and Guitar Hero III Bundle. ($250)

3. If you’re feeling adventurous…A new house in Crete would be ok.
4. But then I would need a Vespa to get around town.

5. My favorite charity…Heifer.org,
ALSO St. Mary’s Food Bank is great local charity providing food to those who need it. FirstFoodBank.org

6. I love to read during my time off so gift card to Borders is fun.

7. ShamWow looks really neat! getshamwow.com

8. Finally, I am hoping to take a couple of trips this summer any funds you want to contribute to that would be highly welcome.

****update. I thought of another small thing. National Geographic Adventure magazine subscription is near to expire ($20)

Who are you?

We don't have any names called "Anonymous" so...either you are new to the family, adopted some time in the last year and we forgot to draw your name OR you just landed here.... HMMMM....you are a female in a cold climate...Jenni has posted already, so are you HEATHER???

All I want for Christmas...

...is Guitar Hero or Rock band

but then

I also need a game console. I think Wii is kind of cool.

I love Nordstrom's Rack and Banana Republic and I will be playing dress up a lot more in the next year, so dress clothes are in order.

And then just to be even more of a typical girl, I'd like some jewelry. I particularly would like a pair of plain silver ball earrings (10mm).

I love pj's, the classic kind, pants and long sleeve...it's cold here!

I like to fly, so Southwest giftcards are also a good idea.

Ok...I came up with some more things....
I would like dansko shoes like this http://www.onlineshoes.com/productpage.asp?gen=w&pcid=117845 (size 36) red

featherbed-- a really cozy one that won't shift a lot. Overstock.com is great for that kind of stuff.

Should be enough for someone to get started. ;-)

Oh yeah...

Adam's Christmas Wish List!

And lo, another Christmas comes to me in yet another foreign land without local access to American entertainment products.

Within the link below, you will find a plethora of gift ideas painstakingly selected over the course of many hours. There are books I'd like to read, DVD's I want to watch, and of course, Lego sets I'd love to put together while wearing the awesome robe that I received last year! (We all know and some of us dread the fact that my Lego collection will eventually end up fueling the creative energies of a small boy named Tim.)

I included a precision mousing surface which would aid me when playing the new video game I can't wait to enjoy or when slaving over our 2008 taxes on the new Taxcut software. I even added a cool new messenger bag so I won't look like such an idiot carrying a plastic bag to and from work every day.

One last Christmas wish that I have concerns us all. Could you possibly find it in your hearts and wallets to hold Christmas 2009 with us here in Cairo? We can sleep 6 guests comfortably in beds so your concerns about the trip really only need consist of getting the time off and buying the plane tickets!

Thanks in advance for your magnanimus generosity in making my Christmas wishes come true! And like another giftee on this blog has already mentioned, you don't necessarily even need to be my Secret Santa to help make my dreams come to fruition!

Terry"s Christmas Extravaganza List

Good Morning Wogun Family!!!!

Thank you all for being willing to participate in our Wogun Family Gift Exchange. This exchange is designed to keep us connected in spite of distances or challenges. So, even though this list is challenging to create and post--it is worth it.

The items on my list reflect some lifestyle changes which have occurred during this past year: new hobby(photography); new responsibilities (garlic press and Azwit donation); and new awareness (BPA free bottles and organic almonds). Whatever my Secret Santa chooses, is sure to be a hit.

Wishing you all a merry, safe and healthy Christmas season--where ever you may be.

Here is my list:

1. Chico's Gift Card

"A Chico's Woman Knows What She Wants!"

2. Garlic Press, $39.95

or similar... I just want that actually presses the garlic through the holes. It is the small things in life....

3. Organic Raw Almonds $10.00/lb

http://www.andersonalmonds.com/order.htm

4. Photography Magazine Subscription It doesn' t matter which one.

5. Extra SD cards. 4gb. One can never have enough!!! Also, I saw somewhere a cute little sd card holder--to keep up with multiple cards. That would be nice.

6. Arizona Highways Photo Workshops--There are inexpensive ones and pricey ones week long trips. Take your pick...

7. BPA free bottles. We have two already, thanks to Jenni. But could us more!

Thank you in advance Secret Santa! And Merry Christmas!
